i have a friend who often says "no offense".
And it always leads to a totally harsh put down and/or insult.

You might as well just go ahead and be a dick if you're going to say shit..because prefacing it with "no offense" absolutely guarantees the recipient of the forthcoming wisdom will MOST DEFINITELY be offended
